The making of an Organature Matress
Made by us right here in Victoria, we take you step-by step in the making of one of our beautiful Organic Cotton Innerspring Mattresses.
-
Pure, Organic cotton in the hopper. From here the cotton is fed into the carding machine.
-
The carding machine separates the cotton into gossamer-like layers. Individual uniform pads are created
-
Each pad is made up of several layers of soft Organic cotton
-
The Australian Made box spring unit is prepared
-
The spring unit is inserted into an organic cotton casing
-
The organic cotton casing is closed and spring unit is now ready for the next stage
-
The machine is carefully cleaned and inspected in preparation for assembly
-
The Organic Suede Cotton outer cover is prepared and the spring unit loaded
-
The first of the several carded cotton pads are carefully placed in the machine for insertion
-
Six layers carded organic cotton layers ready for the encased spring unit
-
The spring unit is careful placed
-
And we are now ready to add the same layers to the top
-
The spring unit, sandwiched in layers and layers of organic cotton, now ready for the next step
-
Beautifully sealed in its organic suede cotton covering, the mattress emerges from the machine
-
Before final sealing, the mattress is checked for consistency and quality
