Packaging and Handling

How we handle our products is just as important as the products themselves.

Instead of plastic packaging or wraps, we use True Cellulose packaging, which is completely non toxic, safe for food storage and fully biodegradable.

Our staff do not wear any perfumes, lotions, sprays or other toxic body-care products and all their clothing is washed in chemical free washing powder to make sure that every aspect of our manufacturing, storage, supply, transfer and delivery process is as clean and as pure as possible.

Even the ink we use to print our invoices and price-lists is the safest we can find on the market.

Quilt Cover and matching Pillow Case Sets made from the highest international standard of 100% Organic Cotton Lightweight Canvas. This bright 'Botanic' floral organic fabric has been printed with low impact dyes permitted under Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). Opening at foot-end with metal press-studs. Fabric for Botanica is a LIGHTWEIGHT canvas Oxford weave 190 GSM, with the starch washed out. Not to be confused with HEAVY canvas as used in sails and blinds. Sewn in our Australian Organature sewing rooms.

Bold and beautiful with a colour palette to mix and match back perfectly with our popular plain dyed Organic Poplin bed linen range. Quilt Covers are backed with plain organic poplin and your choice of:

  • TRIM COLOUR: White organic poplin, for a crisp, cool look
  • TRIM COLOUR: Burgundy organic poplin, if you are after a warmer ambience.

MATCHING COLOURS: This lively organic print is extremely versatile and looks so fresh and bright with teal, green, pesto, yellow, mint, sky blue, butterscotch, orange, burgundy, mustard, red or white.

ORGANIC BOTANICA PRINT MATCHING SETS:

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: WASHING: Maximum temperature for washing cotton is 40 C as anything higher than this may degrade the fibres and reduce the lifespan of your product. We recommend below 30 C for Organic Cotton. Do not use commercial softening products as they may affect your health and alter the organic nature of the product. DRYING: Line dry; avoid strong sunlight which can cause bleaching and deterioration of this quality fabric. May be machine dried on low heat, keeping it below the maximum temperature of 30 C. Iron with steam if needed.
