Packaging and Handling

How we handle our products is just as important as the products themselves.

Instead of plastic packaging or wraps, we use True Cellulose packaging, which is completely non toxic, safe for food storage and fully biodegradable.

Our staff do not wear any perfumes, lotions, sprays or other toxic body-care products and all their clothing is washed in chemical free washing powder to make sure that every aspect of our manufacturing, storage, supply, transfer and delivery process is as clean and as pure as possible.

Even the ink we use to print our invoices and price-lists is the safest we can find on the market.

Our fleece dressing gowns are made from 100% pure Organic Cotton Fleece and made in our Organature Sewing Room. They are fluffy on the inside! Just perfect for winter and they come in a range of gorgeous colours.

Colour: The dyes used for colouring are biodegradable, low impact, environmentally friendly chemical dyes, permitted and certified safe to use under GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This means they are safer than those used in conventional textiles, they reduce the environmental impact of textile manufacturing, they do not contain heavy metal and are not considered harmful to humans. We disclose this information as many of our customers are chemically sensitive and we know how reactive they may be to coloured dyes in conventional fabrics. As different computers may display colours differently, the colour of the actual item may vary slightly from the images pictured. If you are unsure about colours, please do not hesitate to contact us for samples. HOW TO CARE FOR ORGANIC COTTON ROBES AND TOWELS: The washing and drying temperature for 100% organic cotton items should not exceed 40 C. Washing any hotter will slowly destroy the fibre and shorten the life of the towel. We actually recommend less than 30 C is preferable. Towels require a few washes to remove the wax and make them good dryers which increases the absorbency. Tumble drying on LOW heat is also beneficial.
